UA92.
Manchester-based University Academy 92 (UA92) is a groundbreaking higher education institute on a mission to make higher education accessible to all through its founding principles of accessibility, social mobility and inclusivity. Digital skills feature highly across all its courses and UA92 prides itself on providing state-of-the-art facilities for its students. UA92’s aim was to provide a new Digital Academy to meet the increased demand for digital upskilling across the North West.
The Brief.
UA92 required a number of FF&E solutions to ensure its high-spec computer labs were ready for launch in September 2022. Our team were ready to help them achieve their vision. We worked closely with the client and our partners, Orangebox, to deliver a comprehensive suite of solutions for UA92’s space. The project had a value of approximately £210k and required installation to take place once building refurbishment had been completed.
The Result.
A bold suite of furniture was selected to complement UA92’s striking interiors. Smart, contemporary and versatile, the new FF&E now provides students with convenient spaces to work and develop their digital skills. We added booths to offer a place for concentration, creating a sense of privacy while ensuring people remain connected to the space.
The Result.
Breakout furniture creates a warm communal feel where staff and students can discuss ideas or relax. For deskwork, task seating provides extra support over long periods. While multi-use furniture creates adaptable environments that can be arranged around the subject at hand.
